This video is an informative video my name is Tenesha I have worked in healthcare for over 15yrs and one of the specialties I work for is Pediatric Neurology. I talk to parents all day long and they have no idea they can get the kids evaluated through a Pediatric Neurologist for the following diagnosis listed . This video is about how you can get your child evaluated for the following diagnosis ADD-Attention Deficit Disorder, ADHD-Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, and Developmental Delays. You can call your local Pediatric Neurologist and request an appointment for an evaluation. Most Pediatric Neurologist take your state Medicaid programs, and Commercial insurance plans like Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna Healthcare, United Healthcare, Aetna Insurance, and United Medical Resources these are just a few of the commercial insurance companies. Also parents need to be aware that your first initial appointment will be a 3 to 6 month wait due to providers are really busy but your follow-up appointment want be such a long wait. Individual Education Plan or I.E.P goes from K thru 12th grade as for a 504 Plan it goes from K thru College just so you are aware.
